국문 초록

본 논문은 먼저 성서에 기초하여 기독교 영성의 세 가지 유형들을 분석한다. 첫째 유형은 개인의 영혼 구원을 중심 내용으로 가진 구원론적 영성이다. 하나님의 구원을 개인의 영혼 구원으로 이해하는 구원론적 영성은 기독교의 대표적 구원론인 칭의론과 화해론 내지 속죄론에 나타난다. 그것은 인간의 육과 물질의 영역을 간과하거나 죄악시하는 무역사적, 영혼주의적 경향을 가진다. 그 대표적 예를 우리는 초대 교회의 영지주의, 중세기의 수도원 영성과 신비주의에서 볼 수 있다. 둘째 유형은 역사적, 메시아적 영성이다. 이 유형은 하나님의 메시아적 통치, 혹은 하나님의 나라를 사회와 역사 속에서 이루고자 하는 것을 주요 내용으로 가진다. 헤겔의 역사철학과 20세기 초의 종교사회주의 운동, 몰트만의 희망의 신학, 남미의 해방신학과 한국의 민중신학 등에서 대표적 예를 발견할 수 있다. 이 영성은 구약성서의 메시아 왕국에 대한 하나님의 약속, 예수의 하나님 나라 운동에 기초한다. 셋째 유형은 인간에 의해 파괴된 자연 세계의 보호를 주 목적으로 가진 창조의 영성 내지 생태학적 영성이다. 인간의 소유가 아닌, 하나님의 소유로서의 자연, 인간에게 의존하지 않는 자연 자체의 가치와 존엄성, 자연에 속한, 자연의 일부로서의 인간, 자연에 대한 인간의 의존성 등의 문제들이 여기서 다루어진다. 이렇게 세 유형을 분석한 다음, 본 논문은 세 유형들의 통합성을 드러낸다. 세 유형들은 각자의 특성을 유지하면서, 다른 유형들을 인정하고 이들과 통합될 때, 완전한 기독교 영성에 도달할 수 있을 것이다. “참된 것”은 부분적인 것이 아니라 “전체이다”(Hegel).

영문 초록

In face of the ecological crisis today, the thesis analyses three shapes of the Christian spirituality. The first shape lies in the so-called soteriological spirituality, which has its main concern in the salvation of the inner spirit of human beings. This shape, which has the tendency to neglect or think little of the flesh of humans and the material world, appears for example in the Gnosticism of the ancient Christian Church, the piety of cloister and mysticism of the Middle Age. The second shape is the historical, messianic spirituality, which consists in the concern to realize the messianic dominion or the Kingdom of God in the society and history. This model appears for example in the philosophy Hegel, religious socialism movement of the early twentieth century, Theology of Hope of J. Moltmann, Theology of Liberation of Latin America and the Min-Jung Theology of Korea. This shape of Christian spirituality has its ground in the promise of God on the Messianic Kingdom in the Old Testament and the Kingdom of God Movement of Jesus Christ in the New Testament. The thesis finds the third shape of Christian spirituality in the spirituality of creation or ecological spirituality. This spirituality has its main concern in the protection and restoration of the nature, which is by humans destroyed and contaminated. For this concern, the thesis explains the value and dignity of the nature as its own, the human being as a part of nature, his belongingness and dependence to nature, etc. After the analysis of these three shapes of Christian spirituality, the thesis explores that each shape is not whole, but merely a part of Christian spirituality, they can show only in integrated unity the Christian spirituality as whole. As Hegel says in his Phänomenologie des Geistes, the truth does not lie in part but in whole.
