국문 초록

본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정에 따라 개발된 중학교 1학년 수학 교과서에 포함된 QR 코드의 활용 현황을 분석하고, 콘텐츠의 유형 및 교과서별 활용 방식의 특징을 도출함으로써 디지털 기반 수학교육의 효과적 활용 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 QR 코드가 포함된 8종의 교과서를 분석 대상으로 하였으며, 각 교과서에 수록된 QR 코드의 수, 내용 영역별 분포, 자료 유형별 구성, 교수학습 과정 내 활용 방식 등을 중심으 로 정량적·정성적 분석을 병행하였다. 연구 결과, QR 코드의 수와 활용 방식은 교과서별로 큰 차이를 보였으며, 콘텐츠 유형 또한 특정 기능에 편중 되어 있는 경향이 나타났다. 특히 도형과 측정 영역에 QR 코드가 집중되었고, 공학 도구 기반 실습 자료는 일부 교과서에만 제한적으로 수록되어 있었다. 이러한 결과는 QR 코드가 수학 수업에서 학습자 중심의 탐구 및 개념 형성에 기여하기 위해서는 보다 균형 잡힌 자료 설계와 체계적인 활용 전략이 필요함을 시사한다. 본 연구는 수학 교과서 내 QR 코드 활용에 대한 체계적인 분석을 통해 향후 디지털 기반 수학교육의 방향성과 교과서 개발에 유의미한 시사점을 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the current status and characteristics of QR code usage in the 8 types of middle school first-grade mathematics textbooks developed based on the 2022 revised national curriculum in South Korea. The goal is to suggest effective strategies for integrating digital resources into mathematics education. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted on the frequency of QR codes, their distribution by content domain, types of materials provided, and the instructional functions they serve within the textbooks. The findings revealed significant differences among textbooks in the number and types of QR codes, with many codes concentrated in the geometry domain. The content types were often skewed toward specific instructional purposes such as concept explanation or assessment support, while practice-oriented materials using educational software were rarely included. These results imply the need for a more balanced and pedagogically aligned design of QR code resources that effectively support concept learning, inquiry, and self-directed learning in mathematics education. This study is significant in that it provides meaningful implications for the future direction of digital-based mathematics education and textbook development through a systematic analysis of the use of QR codes in mathematics textbooks.
