국문 초록

Recently, local governments are actively conducting research on the region studies to establish the identity of their local residents and to develop their region. At this time, it is necessary to reflect on the research results and seek development plans from them in order to revitalize regional studies at the City, county, and district units, which is in poor research environments, into efficient and valuable research. To this end, this paper summarized and analyzed the problems and tasks of regional studies presented in the research literature that has conducted the results and analysis of regional research so far. As a result, first, various problems and tasks of the most items in the research environment were presented. Second, the necessity of strengthening the academic ability of regional studies as a convergence study was emphasized due to the narrow research topic. Third, the task of popularizing research and popularizing research results was presented. Fourth, the task of strengthening the identity of the region was taken for granted. Through the problems of regional research in the analysis of such research results, it was found that the establishment of a basic research infrastructure such as a research environment is the biggest task for regional research at the city, county, and district level to be continuously activated. We want local governments on the verge of local extinction to be helped to overcome the local crisis by conducting efficient and valuable regional studies reflecting this paper’s research results.
