문화예술계열 캡스톤디자인 기초 교과 프로그램 학습모형 개발 - 청년 대상 지역축제 홍보 전략 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 문화예술계열 학부생을 대상으로 한 기초 캡스톤디자인 교과목의 학습모형을 개발하고, 그 교육적 효과와 실무적 가능성을 검토하는 데 목적이 있다. 특히 기존의 전공 심화형 캡스톤디자인과 차별화된 기초 수준의 교수학습 구조를 제안함으로써, 문화예술 전공자들이 창의성과 문제해결 능력, 협업역량을 균형 있게 함양할 수 있도록 기초 교육 구성안을 시도하였다. 연구는 이론적 고찰과 교육과정 분석, 실제 적용 사례 기반의 탐색을 통해 진행되었으며, 지역연계형 프로젝트인 ‘청년을 위한 안양시민축제 홍보 및 마케팅 전략’ 사례를 중심으로 교과목 구성의 실현 가능성을 검토하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 교과모형은 이론과 실습 과정을 유기적으로 통합하여 학습자 주도의 프로젝트가 가능하도록 구성되었으며, 발표자료, 마스코트 및 굿즈 기획, 홍보영상 등 실무 중심의 창의적 산출물을 통해 실무 적용 가능성도 함께 살펴보았다. 특히 본 교과는 초기 학년을 대상으로 한 기초 수준의 캡스톤디자인 교과로서, 학생들이 실질적 문제해결 경험을 통해 실무역량을 점진적으로 키워나갈 수 있도록 구성되었다. 이 결과는 문화예술계열 고등교육에서 실용성과 공공성을 함께 반영한 교육과정의 방향을 제시하며, 기초 캡스톤디자인 교과가 문화예술기획, 지역 문화정책, 예술교육 등 다양한 분야에서 학습자의 실무역량을 체계적으로 키울 수 있는 기초 교과로 자리 잡고, 향후 확대 적용될 수 있는 기반이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to develop a foundational capstone design course model for undergraduate students majoring in culture and the arts, and to examine its educational effectiveness and practical applicability. Distinct from conventional advanced capstone design courses, this model proposes a foundational-level instructional structure that enables students in arts-related disciplines to cultivate creativity, problem-solving skills, and collaborative competencies in a balanced manner. The research was conducted through a combination of theoretical review, curriculum analysis, and exploration of practical application cases. In particular, the feasibility of the course structure was reviewed based on a regionally connected project, Promotion and Marketing Strategy for the Anyang Citizen Festival for Youth. The developed course model integrates theory and practice in an organic way to support student-led project execution. Practical and creative outcomes—such as presentation materials, mascot and merchandise design, and promotional videos—were produced to assess the course’s applicability in real-world settings. This capstone course is specifically designed for lower-year students, enabling them to progressively build practical competencies through hands-on problem-solving experiences. The results of this study suggest a direction for curriculum development that reflects both practical and public values in higher education for culture and the arts. Furthermore, the foundational capstone design course model is expected to serve as a scalable and adaptable basis for practical training in fields such as cultural planning, local cultural policy, and arts education.
