국문 초록

This study aimed to examine the association between perceived social environment and self-rated general and oral health among community-dwelling older adults in Korea. Using data from the 2023 Community Health Survey, key indicators of social environment perception included neighborhood trust, satisfaction with natural and living environments, and accessibility to medical services and public transportation. The results showed that higher levels of perceived social environment were significantly associated with more positive self-rated health and oral health. Among the components, neighborhood trust and satisfaction with healthcare services had the strongest associations. These findings highlight the role of perceived social environment as a structural determinant of health in later life and provide evidence for the development of community-based, integrated health policies to improve the quality of life for the aging population.
