국문 초록

Purpose: This study systematically analyzes research trends related to operating room nurses conducted in Korea, with the goal of identifying major research directions and uncovering research gaps. Methods: A scoping review method was applied to analyze studies published in domestic and international academic journals. Results: Research on the work environment, job stress, education and competency development, job satisfaction, and turnover intention of operating room nurses was found to be actively conducted. Notably, the role of operating room nurses is changing due to advancements in medical technology, highlighting the need for improvements in educational programs. Additionally, operating room nurses experience high levels of job stress and burnout, which negatively affect job satisfaction and turnover intention. Conclusion: The findings can serve as foundational data for improving the work environment and developing educational programs for operating room nurses. Hospitals and healthcare institutions should create various support measures to enhance the competencies and job satisfaction of operating room nurses.
