국문 초록

예이츠의 시에 나오는 요정과 일연의 『삼국유사』의 도깨비는 유사한 점이 있다. 이 연구에서는 요정과 도깨비 이미지를 비교해 보았다. 요정과 도깨비는 무리를 지어 다니면서 춤을 춘다. 이들은 춤을 통해서 이승과 저승의 경계 너머의 영원한 세계를 표현하면서 열망과 욕망을 이미지로 사용하였다. 예이츠는 요정의 세계를 ‘무의식의 열망’으로 표현했지만, 일연은 ‘무의식의 욕망의 초월’로 비유했다. 두 시인은 요정과 도깨비를 다르게 묘사하는데, 예이츠는 요정을 무의식의 열망이미지로, 일연은 도깨비를 무의식의 욕망의 초월이미지로 시에 담아내었다.

영문 초록

Fairies in Yeats’s poems and dokkaebi in Ilryeon’s Samguk Yusa share similarities. This study compares the images of the fairy and the dokkaebi. Fairies and dokkaebi dance, moving around in groups. So the two poets describe fairies and dokkaebi differently: Yeats’s sing about fairies in the imagery of aspirations, while Ilryeon’s are the imagery of the desires of the unconscious in their poems.
