메타버스 미술치료의 윤리적 기초 마련을 위한 미술치료사의 심층 면담 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 미술치료 전공 학사 및 석사과정에 재학 중인 예비 미술치료사의 메타버스 미술치료 경험을 바탕으로 디지털 미술치료 내 메타버스 미술치료의 장점과 한계점을 찾고, 미술치료 윤리 강령 구성 요소 고찰을 통한 메타버스 미술치료 윤리적 기초를 마련하는 것에 있다. 방법 본 연구는 2024년 11월 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 미술치료를 경험한 예비 미술치료사를 대상으로 현상학적 면담 방식을 기반으로 총 3단계를 걸쳐 심층 면담을 실시하였고, 면담 결과는 4명의 연구자가 교차분석 후 범주화하여 결과를 도출하였다. 결과 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 메타버스 미술치료는 여러 가지 주목할 만한 장점과 한계점을 가지고 있다는 의견이 나타났다. 둘째, 윤리적 측면에서 메타버스 미술치료는 기존 대면 치료보다 더 세심한 주의와 윤리적 고려가 필요하다는 의견이 나타났다. 셋째, 메타버스 환경에서의 미술치료에 대한 윤리적 필요성을 인식하고 새로운 윤리 강령 구성 요소를 고찰할 수 있었다. 결론 본 연구 결과는 예비 미술치료사의 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 미술치료 경험을 통한 장점 및 한계점을 확인한 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 윤리 강령 구성 요소 제안이 갖는 의미를 확장하여 비대면 미술치료 분야에서 구체적 윤리 발전 및 메타버스 미술치료 활성화에 기여되기를 바며 메타버스 미술치료에 대한 인식개선과 비전 설계에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to find the advantages and limitations of metaverse art therapy based on the metaverse art therapy experience of prospective art therapists in the undergraduate and master's courses in art therapy, and to lay the foundation for metaverse art therapy ethics by examining the components of the code of ethics. Methods This study conducted in-depth interviews with prospective art therapists who experienced art therapy using the metaverse platform in November 2024 based on a phenomenological interview method, and the interview results were categorized by four researchers after cross-analysis to derive results. Results As a result of this study, first, it was found that metaverse art therapy has several notable advantages and limitations. Second, from an ethical perspective, it was suggested that metaverse art therapy requires more careful attention and consideration than conventional face-to-face therapy. Third, we were able to recognize the ethical need for art therapy in the metaverse environment and consider new ethical code components. Conclusions The results of this study are significant in that they confirmed the advantages and limitations of art therapy experiences using the metaverse platform of preliminary art therapists. It is hoped that it will contribute to the development of specific ethics and revitalization of metaverse art therapy in the field of non-face-to-face art therapy by expanding the meaning of the ethical code component proposal of this study, and will help improve awareness of metaverse art therapy and design vision.
