국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 자원봉사활동이 자기효능감과 이타성에 미치는 영향력을 실증적으로 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여, 2022년 4월 1일부터 4월 29일까지 세종특별자치시에 거주하는 중ㆍ고등학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 213부의 설문지를 최종분석에 활용하였다. 연구방법은 자기효능감과 이타성을 각각 종속변수로 하는 회귀분석을 실시하였는데, 특히 독립변수를 자원봉사활동의 내재적 참여동기와 외재적 참여동기, 필요성, 참여도와 만족도로 구분하여, 구체적으로 자원봉사활동의 어떤 특성이 자기효능감과 이타성에 영향을 미치는지 파악하였다. 연구결과, 청소년의 자원봉사활동의 내재적 참여동기, 필요성, 참여도가 높을수록 자기효능감과 이타성이 높게 나타났다. 또한 자원봉사활동의 만족도가 높을수록 이타성이 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로, 청소년들이 자원봉사활동을 통하여 자기효능감과 이타성을 증진시킬 수 있도록, 청소년의 자원봉사활동 단계별로 개선방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the influence of youth volunteering on self-efficacy and altruism. For this purpose, a survey was conducted targeting middle and high school students living in Sejong City from April 1 to April 29, 2022, and 213 questionnaires were used in the final analysis. The research method was a regression analysis with self-efficacy and altruism as dependent variables. In particular, the independent variables were divided into intrinsic and extrinsic participation motivation, necessity, participation, and satisfaction in volunteer activities, specifically volunteering activities. We identified which characteristics influence self-efficacy and altruism. As a result of the study, the higher the intrinsic motivation, necessity, and participation level of youth volunteer activities, the higher their self-efficacy and altruism. Additionally, the higher the level of satisfaction with volunteer activities, the higher the level of altruism. Based on these research results, a step-by-step improvement plan for youth volunteerign was presented so that youth could improve self-efficacy and altruism through volunteering.
