국문 초록

본 연구는 노동조합의 역할이 기업 안에 머물러 있지 않음에 주목하여 노동조합의 사회적 책임에 대한 이론적 검토와 함께 노동조합의 사회적 책임 사례로 노사공동의 사회연대기금을 살펴보았다. 사회연대기금은 노동조합이 제안하여 노사가 공동으로 재원을 마련한 기금으로 특정 기업수준이 아닌 지역과 산업수준에서 다양한 유형의 사회적 책임활동을 수행하고 있다. 또한 취약계층을 지원하는 기업의 사회적 책임을 넘어 노동약자를 지원하고 노동존중을 실현하기 위한 다양한 프로그램을 추진하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 지속가능한 사회를 위해서는 기업의 경제적 가치와 사회적 가치가 동시에 중요한 것처럼, 노사의 사회적 책임도 기업 내 직원을 위한 경제적 성과를 넘어 사회적 성과를 창출할 수 있음을 사례를 통해 보여준다.

영문 초록

This study examines the social responsibility of labor unions, noting that the role of labor unions is not limited to the company, and examines social solidarity funds as an example of labor-management social responsibility. A social solidarity fund is a fund proposed by the labor union of a company and jointly financed by employees and management that is used to carry out various social responsibility activities at the regional and industrial levels rather than at the company specifically. This type of fund goes beyond corporate social responsibility to support the vulnerable and promotes various programs to support the weak and increase labor respect . This study shows that, just as both the economic and social values of a company are important for a sustainable society, labor-management social responsibility can create beneficial social outcomes for employees at a company in addition to economic ones.
