국문 초록

본 연구는 중국인 유학생-노동자들의 문화변용전략이 온라인 사회자본과 심리적 웰빙, 그리고 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 그리고 문화변용전략이 온라인 사회자본, 심리적 웰빙 및 직무만족 등에 미치는 영향이 성별에 따라 다른지를 검증하였다. 서울, 부산, 경남, 경북, 전북 등지역에서 아르바이트를 하는 중국인 유학생 162명을 대상으로 한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중국인 유학생-노동자들의 문화변용전략에 따라 이들의 온라인 사회자본, 심리적 웰빙, 직무만족, 한국어말하기 및 듣기 능력, 연령 등이 모두 각각 다른 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 문화변용전략이 온라인 사회자본, 심리적 웰빙 및 직무만족 등에 미치는 영향에 있어서 성별의 조절효과를 분석한 결과, 즉 상술한 영향들이 성별에 따라 다른지를 검증하기 위한 이원분산분석(Two-Way ANOVA) 결과, 성별의 조절효과가 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 직무만족은 여성과 남성 모두 통합이 가장 높고 동화가 그 다음 순으로 나타났지만, 온라인 사회자본과 심리적 웰빙은 모두 남성의 경우 통합이 동화보다 높은 반면 여성의경우 동화가 통합보다 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 여성의 문화변용전략은 직무만족에만 유의한 영향을 미치는대신, 남성의 문화변용전략은 직무만족, 온라인 사회자본, 심리적 웰빙, 한국어 말하기 및 듣기 능력 등많은 변수들에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 시사점과 한계점및 향후 연구 과제를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the effects of acculturation strategies on online social capital, psychological well-being, and job satisfaction among Chinese student workers in Korea . In addition, it was verified whether these effects are different by gender. Data were collected from 162 Chinese students workers in Seoul, Busan, Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, and Jeonbuk. The statistical results are as the following. First, Chinese student workers’ online social capital, psychological well-being, job satisfaction, Korean speaking and listening skills, and age were all found to be different based on their acculturation strategies. Second, two-way ANOVA test reveals that there is no moderating effect of gender between acculturation strategies and dependent variables(online social capital, psychological well-being, and job satisfaction). Third, job satisfaction was highest in integration strategy for both male and female, followed by assimilation strategy. However, online social capital and psychological well-being were all higher in integration strategy than in assimilation strategy for male, while these two variables were all higher in assimilation strategy than in integration strategy for female. Lastly, women's acculturation strategies have a significant effect on job satisfaction only, but men's acculturation strategies significantly affect many variables such as job satisfaction, online social capital, psychological well-being, and Korean speaking and listening skills. Theoretical and practical implications, research limitations, and future research tasks were addressed at the last part.
