국문 초록

This study conducted an analysis of the elderly living in Gunsan City, with their family relations,health, economic status, and social activities as independent variables, and self-realization and peaceof mind as parameters to analyze the factors that affect the happy lives of the elderly by using thestructural equation model. The factors that influence a happy life are as follows. Based on the analysis of the structural equation model, it was found that family relations, health,economic status, social activities, self-realization, and peace of mind positively affect theirhappiness. This means that improving family relations, health, economic standards, social activities,self-realization, and peace of mind lead to a happier life. On the other hand, when comparing eachvariable's influence on a happy life, peace of mind came first, followed by self-realization, socialactivities, family relations, health, and economic status.
