울진 성류굴의 新羅 銘文에 대한 분석

국문 초록

2019년 울진 성류굴에서 진흥왕이 다녀갔다는 명문이 필자에 의해 발견되었다. 이후 울진 성류굴은 신라시대 유오산수하는 화랑의 수련처로, 스님과 귀족, 일반인 등 수많은 사람들의 명승 탐방처로 밝혀졌다. 이 논문은 필자의 2019년 신라 명문 발견 보고 이후 추가로 판독된 명문들을 소개하고 분석하는 것으로 대부분 자신의 이름과 시기를 적은 짧은 글들이다. 그러나 간략한 명문인데도 그동안 문헌기록에서 알려지지 않은 많은 사실들을 보여주고 있어 사료적 가치가 크다. 또 울진 성류굴의 명문을 검토하기 위해 울주 천전리 서석곡과 제천 점말동굴에 새겨진 신라 명문들도 일부 재판독하고 해석하여 서로 연결시켜 분석해 보았다. 이 과정에서 점말동굴 내부에도 명문이 있는 것이 처음 확인되었다

영문 초록

In 2019, I discovered an inscription that King Jinheung visited at Seongnyugul Cave in Uljin. Since then, Uljin Seongnyugul Cave has been found to be a training center for Hwarang during the Silla Dynasty and a scenic spot for numerous people, including monks, aristocrats and ordinary people. This paper introduces and analyses the inscriptions that have been additionally read since the author's 2019 discovery report, and most of them are short texts with their names and times. However, even though it is a brief Silla inscription, it has great historical value as it shows many unknown facts in the literature records. In addition, in order to review the inscriptions of Seongnyugul Cave in Uljin, some of the Silla inscriptions engraved at Seoseokgok Valley of Cheonjeon-ri in Ulju, and Jeommaldonggul Cave in Jecheon were also re-read, interpreted, and analyzed by connecting them to each other.
