송대(宋代)의 은일 방식과 사은관(仕隱觀)

국문 초록

본고는 송대의 사은관(仕隱觀)과 은일 정서를 주제로 하여 은거와 벼슬의 연관성을 규명하고자 했다. 벼슬과 은일이라는 상호 대립적 성격이 어떠한 은일 방식으로 나타났고, 사(仕)와 은(隱)에 대한 인식은 어떠했고, 그에 따른 은일 정서와 사은관은 어떤 특징을 지니는지를 파악하고자 했다. 이를 위해 『송사·은일전(宋史·隱逸傳)』의 은사와 문인사대부들의 은일 방식을 대상으로, 은사와 사(士)의 은일방식, 사(仕)와 은(隱)에 대한 관념, 은일정서와 은일 심리를 범주로 하여, ‘행위자(주체)-활동(창작)-심리(정서)’의 틀에서 분석했다. 위의 구도에 따라 은일 방식의 변화와 특징, 은일시와 은일 정서, 은일 심리와 사은관 등의 내용을 분석했다. 첫째, 송대 은일 방식의 변화와 형성 배경을 살펴보았고, 둘째, 은일시 창작을 통해 은일 정서와 창작 특징을 분석했으며, 셋째, 이를 통해 은일 정서, 은일 심리 및 사은관의 특징을 도출하였다. 이러한 분석 과정에서 은일 주체·은일 방식·은일 정서 및 사은관이 유기적으로 결합된 송대 은일 문화의 특징을 파악할 수 있었다. 특히 『송사·은일전』의 은사와 문인사대부들의 은일시에는 공통적으로 유불도(儒佛道) 융합의 은일정서와 겸제(兼濟) 정신의 은일 의식이 표현되었고, 궁극적으로 심형구망(心形俱忘)의 은일 경지를 추구하고 있었다. 이러한 특징은 송대의 은일 정서와 사은관을 형성하였다.

영문 초록

This paper is intended to make clear the relevance between being a hermit and officials, with the concept that officials desired to withdraw from society and live in solitude and the complex to desire to live in seclusion in Song Dynasty as the theme. In this text, we’ll get to understand: in which manner of living in solitude, the officials and living in solitude, which is contrary with each other, appeared; what is the recognition in the officials and living in solitude in the past; and which characteristics the complex and concept of living in solitude showed. And, for that, ‘Doer(subject)- Activities(creating work)-psychology(sentiment)’ is analyzed in the range of the manner of living solitude, conception of the officials and living in solitude, and the sentiment and psychology of the hermits, concerning the manner of living solitude of the hermits and scholar-bureaucrat in ‘History of Song Dynasty·Hermit Biography’. In such composition, the transition and characteristics of the manner of living in solitude, the hermit poetry and their sentiment, and psychology and conception that officials withdrew from society and lived in solitude, is analyzed. First, the changes and background of the manner of living in solitude in Song Dynasty is observed. Second, through creation of hermit poetry, the sentiment of the hermits and the characteristics of the hermit poetry is analyzed. Third, through which, the sentiment of hermits, their psychology and conception is educed. Through above process of analysis, we could get to understand the characteristics of recluse culture in Song Dynasty where the subject, manner, sentiment, conception that officials withdrew from society and lived in solitude is combined. Especially, in the hermit poetry by the hermits and scholar-bureaucrat in ‘History of Song Dynasty ·Hermit Biography’, a recluse sentiment where the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism were mixed commonly together, and the consciousness of concurring spirit was represented, and further, they aspired after fading from their memory of body and thinking. Finally, all these factors have made up recluse sentiment and conception that officials withdrew from society and lived in solitude.
