한성백제기 성곽 내 주거유형의 성격

국문 초록

한성백제기의 성내 주거지의 유형 연구를 통해 성내 주거지의 성격을 파악하고, 이를 통해 도성과 지방성 간의 관계를 이해하고자 하였다. 먼저 한성백제기의 성곽임이 명확한 유적으로 도성인 풍납토성과 몽촌토성, 지방의 거점지역에 위치한 화성 길성리토성·화성 소근산성·충주 탄금대토성·증평 추성산성의 내부에서 확인된 주거지를 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 성곽내에서는 육각형주거지·오각형주거지·방형계주거지·원형계주거지가 모두 확인된다. 육각형주거지와 오각형주거지는 다른 주거지들에 비해 규모가 크고 내부시설이 복잡한 양상을 보인다. 방형계 주거지는 성외 지역에서뿐만 아니라 성내지역에서도 가장 보편적으로 확인되는 주거유형이다. 원형계 주거지는 성내지역에서 나타나기는 하지만 출토빈도가 높지 않은 편이다. 성곽은 이들 주거유형을 점유하는 단위로, 주거지의 유형에 따라 성곽의 성격, 즉 위계를 설정할 수 있다. 위계설정의 기준은 주거지의 평면형태·규모·특수기종의 토기 출토빈도·기와출토 여부로 설정하였다. 이에 따라 성곽의 위계를 설정하면 소근산성·탄금대토성⟶추성산성⟶길성리토성⟶풍납토성·몽촌토성 순으로 위계가 높아지는 양상으로 확인된다. 또한 이런 기준은 성외지역의 취락유적에도 대입할 수 있는데, 대표적으로 하남미사리유적과 용인 수지 백제주거지를 살펴본 결과 증평의 추성산성과 비슷한 위계를 보이는 것을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The selected subjects for archaeological analysis are the residential areas inside the walled towns explicitly from Hanseong-Baekje Period including the Pungnap Toseong(風納土城) and Mongchon Toseong(夢村土城) in a capital city, and Hwaseong Gilseongri Toseong(華城 吉城里土城), Hwaseong Sogeunsanseong(華城 疏勤山城), Chungju Tangeumdae Toseng(忠州 彈琴臺土城), and Jeungpyeong Chuseongsanseong Fortress(曾坪 杻城山城) in key local locations. Within the Fortresses, hexagonal, pentagonal, square, and circular residential types were all identified. Hexagonal and pentagonal type residences are larger and have more complex inner facilities than the others. Most of them are also equipped with entrances. The square type residence is the most common both in the interior and exterior Fortress areas. The characteristics of Fortresses, namely the ranks of Fortress, can be established through the types of the dwellings within. The criteria of ranking establishment include the shape, size, existence of an entrance, the frequency of excavation of special types of pottery, and the appearance of rooftiles. The rank of the Fortresses under these criteria get higher as follows: Soguensanseong, Tanguemdae Toseong ⟶ Chuseongsanseong Fortresses ⟶ Gilseongritoseong ⟶ Pungnap Toseong and Mongchon Toseong. These criteria can be applied to the settlement remains outside of the Fortresses as well. Archaeological examination of Hanam Misari remains and Yongin Suji Baekje dwellings, among others, shows that they are of a similar rank with the Jeungpyeong Chuseongsanseong Fortresses.
