국문 초록

이 글에서는 중국 소재 묘지명을 통해 당 왕조에서 살았던 한국계 유이민의 생애와 활동사 연구에 대한 총괄적인 서술을 하였다. 이 기획연구과제를 수행한 연구팀에서는 중국에 소재하는 묘지명 분석을 통하여 당시 사람들의 삶에 대한 접근으로 생활사를 재구성하고 이해하였다. 즉, 여기서는 당으로 이주하여 唐人으로 탈바꿈한 고구려, 백제, 신라, 발해 출신인, 이른바 한국계 유이민들에 대한 활동을 조사해서 이들이 살아간 궤적과 모습을 복원해 보았다. 이 작업은 향후 발견될 묘지명에 대한 나름대로의 연구방향을 마련했다고 하겠다. 이 연구는 아주 큰 반향을 불러오고 이와 관련한 후속 연구를 초래할 것으로 기대한다. 먼저 국내 소재 문헌자료와 더불어 고대 한국인의 생활사를 복원하고 재구성하는데 도움이 된다고 본다. 그리고 새로이 출토되고 있는 묘지명 자료에 대한 연구자의 관심과 활용의 필요성을 제고할 것이다. 결국 이 연구는 종전의 제한적이거나 부분적 연구방식에서 초월하여 보다 폭넓고 다양한 사실들을 수집 정리함으로써, 전문연구자는 물론 일반인들에게도 제공하고 이해의 공감대를 형성함에 기여하게 될 것이다.

영문 초록

This article is a overall description of the study on the life history of Korean displaced peoples lived in the Tang dynasty. The research team that carried out this project reconstructed and understood the life history through the analysis of epigraph-writings in China. Through the study of Koreans who moved to the party and transformed into people of the country, they restored their trajectory and vivid appearance. This work has prepared an important research guideline for the future to be discovered. This study will bring about a great deal of repercussions in the future, and will lead to follow-up studies. First, cultural restoration projects, social training, and interesting perceptions will be derived from citizens. On the other hand, it will help restore and reconstruct life history using literature data in Korea. And it will raise the necessity of interest and utilization of the researcher's new materials of Epitaph which are being excavated in China. In the end, this study is a collection of wider and diverse facts that transcend the previous limited or partial research methods, which will be provided to researchers and the general public, and will form a consensus on this field.
