중부지방 적석총의 계통과 축조집단

국문 초록

중부지방의 적석총은 석재(돌)로 묘곽을 축조한 점, 매장주체부가 지상인 점, 무덤의 입지가 구릉이 아니라 충적대지인 점, 연접식의 다곽묘가 확인되는 점, 묘곽뿐만 아니라 적석부에서도 유물이 확인되는 점 등이 특징이다. 그리고 이런 특징은 고구려 적석총의 그것과 상통한다. 따라서 중부지방 적석총의 계통은 고구려 적석총에 둘 수 있고, 그 피 장자는 고구려 유이민이며 종족상으로는 貊族으로 볼 수 있다. 이런 입장에서 본고에서는 중부지방 적석총의 축조집단을 濊系로 본 기존의 학설(濊 族說)을 부정하였다. 그 이유로 우선, 濊의 중심 영역으로 비정되는 함경남도와 강원도 영동지역에서 적석총이 한 기도 발굴되지 않은 점, 또 『삼국지』 예전에서 그들은 주옥(珠 玉)을 보물로 여기지 않는다고 했지만, 중부지방 적석총에서 유일하게 확인되는 장신구 가 구슬인 점, 『삼국지』 예전에서는 大君長이 없다고 했기에 濊의 영역이 임진강·북한강· 남한강 유역까지 미쳤을 가능성이 낮다는 점 등이다. 한편, 『삼국사기』 속의 맥국 관련 기사의 검토를 통하여, 중부지방 적석총 분포지역 이 맥족을 종족 기반으로 하는 소국들의 영역일 것이라고 보았다. 그리고 이들 소국이 마한 54개국 중에 포함되어 있을 것이라 전제하였다. 이런 전제 아래 大石索國은 임진강 일대, 小石索國은 한탄강 일대, 咨離牟盧國은 북한강 일대, 素謂乾國은 옛 천녕 일대, 古爰國은 원주 일대, 莫盧國은 충주 일대로 비정하였다. 마지막으로 중부지방 적석총이 백제의 영역 내에 자리하고 있는 점, 최근 발굴에서 백제마을 권역에서 발굴되는 점, 출토 유물도 백제 토기인 점, 적석총의 축조세력인 맥계 속국들이 백제국의 성장과 함께 백제의 지배력 아래 들어간 점 등을 들어 ‘백제적석총’이란 명칭을 부여해야 한다고 보았다.

영문 초록

Jeokseokchong(積石冢) in the central region is characterized by the fact that the tomb was built with stone, the burial body was on the ground, the tomb was located not in the hills but in the alluvial land, and relics were identified not only in the tomb but also in the Jeokseok area. And this characteristic is in line with that of the Koguryo Jeokseokchong. Therefore, the lineage of Jeokseokchong in the central region can be placed in the Jeokseokchong of Goguryeo, and a buried man can be seen as Goguryeo's clan. From this point of view, this paper rejected the existing theory(Yejok theory, 濊族說) that viewed the construction group of Jeokseokchong in the central region as Yejok. First of all, not a single Jeokseokchong was found in Hamgyeongnam-do(咸鏡南道) and Yeongdong of Gangwon-do(江原 嶺東). Second, the literature says that the Yejoke do not value beads, but the only accessories of Jeokseokchong(積石冢) in the central region in the central region are beads. Thirdly, he literature says that there are no great chiefs in the Yejok, so it is unlikely that their territory was as wide as Yeongseo(嶺西). On the other hand, through a analysis review of an article related to Macguk(貊國) and Macin(貊人) in the Samguk Sagi(三國史 記), it was considered that the distribution area of Jeokseokchong in the central region would be countries of Macjok. And it was assumed that these small countries would be included among the 54 Mahan countries(馬韓 小國). Under these assumptions, the location of six countries was assumed. Regarding the terms of eokseokchong in the central regionthe central area's Jeokseokchong, it should be called Baekje Jeokseokchong because the distribution area is located in the Baekje area.
