국문 초록

본고에서 발터 벤야민의 ‘알레고리’ 논의를 중심으로 한국영화 <암살>에 나타나는 가족과 민족의 상관관계를 고찰한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째, 알레고리적 인물은 이중적 층위와 신비한 균형을 드러낸다. 도덕적알레고리는 개인/공동체, 비극/희극, 조력자/적대자의 대비를 보여주고, 주변인물의 관계망은 욕망의 차이와 힘의 대칭을 보여주고, 반복/변형 구조는 주체성의 상실/회복과 양의적 존재를 보여준다. 두 번째, 알레고리적 주제는 슬픔의 왕국과 죽음의 시대를 드러낸다. 위계의상승/폄하는 구조화된 폭력과 가부장제의 해체를 보여주고, 알레고리적 우울은상실의 시대와 혁명적 잠재력을 보여주고, 다이몬적 본성은 살인의 공간과 죽음의 진혼곡을 보여준다. 세 번째, 알레고리적 주제는 질서에 대한 무단침범과 이율배반성을 드러낸다. 알레고리의 파편화는 혈연 가족의 해체와 비혈연 가족의 생성을 보여주고, 알레고리의 이의성은 표면층/의미층의 이중성을 보여주고, 알레고리의 다의성은 상상적 전개와 균열의 상태를 보여준다. <암살>은 이중적 층위와 신비한 균형, 슬픔의 왕국과 죽음의 시대, 질서에 대한 무단침범과 이율배반성을 통해서 가족의 해체와 민족의 내분 사이의 알레고리를 보여준다.

영문 초록

In this paper, the relationship between families and ethnic groups in the Korea movie “Assassination” was examined, focusing on the ‘allegory’ discussion of Walter Benjamin, and the results are as follows. First, the allegory characters show a double-layered and mysterious balance. Moral allegory shows the contrast of individual/community, tragedy/comedy, assistant/hostile, the network of surrounding characters shows the difference of desire and the symmetry of power, and the repeated/deformed structure shows loss/recovery of subjectivity and ambivalent existence. Second, the allegory theme shows the Kingdom of Sorrow and the Age of Death. Rising/degrading hierarchies shows structured violence and the dissolution of patriarchy, allegory depression shows the age of loss and revolutionary potential, and Damon nature shows the space for murder and the requiem of death. Third, the allegory plot shows an unprovoked violation of order and antinomy. The fragmentation of allegory shows the dissolution of the blood family and the creation of the non-blood family, the heterogeneity of allegory shows the duality of the surface layer/semantic layer, and the polysemy of allegory shows imaginary development and cracks. “Assassination” shows the bond between the dissolution of the family and the internal strife through a double-dimensional and mysterious balance, a sad kingdom and an era of death, and an unprovoked invasion of order and antinomy.
