영문 초록

In 2023, there was a growing interest in community nursing and its relationship to health policy and legislative issues. In this study, it is necessary to evaluate the step-by-step analysis process and the effects of applying the nursing process to a regional healthcare plan formulated and implemented by the local government as part of its Health Program Planning. The study targeted 177 third-year nursing students. Following the ADDIE model, the nursing process (i.e., situational assessment-diagnosis-planning-implementation-evaluation) was applied to analyze a regional healthcare plan. The data were collected through a survey. The degree of achievement of learning goals increased significantly from 3.78 points before the program implementation to 4.2 points afterwards, which was statistically significant. After the program, students' positive feedback was most frequently related to the following aspects, in descending order: “Increased interest” (34 students, 20.2%), “Recognition of local residents' health issues” (31 students, 18.5%), “Improved understanding” (30 students, 17.9%), and “Informative nature of the activity” (11 students, 6.5%). Responses regarding areas for improvement and supplementary points were as follows: “None” (38 students, 22.6%), “Difficult data analysis” (32 students, 19.0%), “The importance of checking recent data” (14 students, 8.3%), “I would like to improve my performance if given the opportunity” (13 students, 7.7%), and “Create a specific action plan” (11 students, 6.5%). The results of this study are expected to serve as fundamental data for subsequent research, building upon the community nursing process applied in health program planning. It is also expected to positively expand the perception of the need for institutional and policy intervention in individual and social structural aspects to achieve health equity among all social stratifications in the community.
