국문 초록

2022 교육과정 역사과 선택 과목 편성은 사회 교과군 내 다른 영역과 비교할 때 심각한 불균형을 보인다. 이는 학습자의 선택권을 넓힌다는 새 교육과정의 개정 방향에 부합하지 않는다. 역사과 교육과정 ‘재구조화 연구’와 ‘시안 개발 연구(1차)’에서 제안된 「세계유산 탐구(가칭)」, 「역사콘텐츠와의 대화(가칭)」 두 개의 선택 과목은 폐기되어야 할 이유와 근거를 찾을 수 없다. 두 과목 모두 역사과 선택 과목에 다시 포함하는 것이 마땅하다. 이러한 판단을 근거로 문화유산·문화사 관련 과목 교육과정안을 「한국과 세계의 인류 문화유산」이라는 과목명으로 제시하였다. 문화, 문화사 관련 과목 개설과 교육과정 구성은 학습자가 한국과 다른 나라의 문화유산을 함께 살필 기회를 제공하여 균형감 있는 문화 의식을 가질 수 있도록 한다. 또한 문화사 관련 과목의 제안은 2022 중·고등학교 역사과 교육과정 전체 구성에서 전근대와 근현대의 비중에 불균형이 있다는 지적에 대한 보완의 의미도 있다. 근래 한류 혹은 K-Culture의 확산 등 우리 문화 내용이 전 세계적으로 주목받고 있다. 이러한 시대 조류에서 우리 청소년들이 이러한 문화 융성의 원천인 한국의 문화유산에 대해서 제대로 알 기회를 얻지 못한 상태로 막연한 자문화 중심주의나 문화 사대주의로 흐르는 것은 피해야 할 것이다. 그런 측면에서 「한국과 세계의 인류 문화유산」은 선택 과목의 하나로써 충분한 존립의 근거를 갖는다.

영문 초록

The selection of elective subjects in the history of the 2022 curriculum is disproportionate to other areas within the social studies group. There is no reason to discard the two elective subjects of the history department, which were proposed from the basic research stage of the curriculum. Both subjects deserve to be reintroduced into the course of history. Based on this judgment, I presented a curriculum plan for subjects related to cultural heritage and cultural history under the title of . In composing the curriculum for cultural history-related subjects, the cultural heritages of Korea and other countries were examined together. This is to provide the learner with an opportunity to have a balanced cultural consciousness without being immersed in both ethnocentrism and cultural philanthropy. In addition, the cultural history subject has the meaning of supplementing the point that there is an imbalance in the proportion of pre-modern and modern times in the overall composition of the middle and high school history curriculum in 2022. Recently, the contents of Korean culture are attracting attention around the world. In this current trend, it should be avoided from flowing into vague self-culturalism or cultural philanthropy without the opportunity for our youth to properly know about Korea's cultural heritage, the source of such cultural prosperity.
