피로회복과 ‘사색적 삶, 활동적 삶 그리고 예술적 삶’의 치료적 관계

국문 초록

이 글에서 논자는 우선 적자생존으로 이념화됨으로써 불안정한 세계 속에서완전무장을 추구하는 삶의 원형을 고대 그리스 호메로스의『오디세이아』 중에서 세이렌과 조우하는 오디세우스를 분석함으로써 드러내본다. 특히 완전무장을 요구하는 적자생존의 세계관과 피로의 상관관계를 살펴봄으로써 현대인의극단적 피로, 즉 철벽방어를 위한 신체결박과 과잉각성에 기인한 만성적 피로의원인을 진단해본다. 둘째로는 오디세우스의 피로의 원인진단과 치료적 회복 간의 현대적 간극을 한병철의『시간의 향기』에서 제시되는 사색적 삶과 활동적 삶의 상관구조를 비판적으로 검토함으로써 드러내보고자 한다. 마지막으로 논자는 한병철의 성과주체인 프로메테우스의 피로에 대한 처방으로서 사색적 삶의한계에 대한 대안으로서 니체의『비극의 탄생』의 <자기비판의 시도>가 제안하는 삶을 ‘예술적 삶’이라는 새로운 개념을 통해 드러내본다. 특히 후기 그리스 문화의 그리스적 명랑성이 단지 황혼에 불과한 것은 아닐까하는 니체의 전복적 물음을 오늘날 피로회복담론과 연결하여 재조명해본다. 이와 같은 과정을 통하여피로사회의 피로회복의 원인진단과 치료적 대안을 활동적인 삶, 사색적 삶 그리고 예술적 삶이라는 세 가지 삶의 양식을 통해서 드러내봄으로서 니체철학상담의 이론적 토대를 마련해본다.

영문 초록

In this writing, firstly, this writer tries to reveal the original of life pursuing being armed from top to toe in the unstable world through the logic of the survival of the fittest by analyzing Odysseus encountering Siren in ancient Greek Homeros’Odysseia. Especially this writer searches the correlation between the world view of the survival of the fittest and the fatigue demanding being armed from top and diagnoses the cause of the moderner’s extreme fatigue, that is, the chronic fatigue owing to the bondage of body and the excessive awakening for the impregnable defense. Secondly, the writer intends to reveal the modern gap between the cause diagnosis of Odysseus’ fatigue and therapeutic recovery by checking correlative structure of contemplative life and active life presented in Han Byung- Chul’s The Scent of Time critically. Finally, this arguer discloses the artistic life(vita artiva) suggested by ‘Attempt of Self-criticism’ of Nietzsche’s The Birth of Tragedy as an alternative concerning the limit of contemplative life as the prescription to the Prometheus’ fatigue, Han Byung-Chul’s Leistungssubjekt. Especially, the arguer sheds new light on Nietzsche’s radical question that the Greek brightness of the post Greek culture may be nothing better than twilight in relation with today’s discourse of fatigue recovery. Through this process, this writer intends to reveal the cause diagnosis of fatigue recovery and therapeutic alternative of fatigue society through three types of modes such as active life, contemplative life and artistic life and prepare the theoretical ground for Nietzschean Philosophic counseling.
