영문 초록

College education should engage students in service to their local communities to enrich their meaningful experiences needed for productive growth before their commencement. In an effort to meet this desire, this research explored how to effectively design empirical collaborative college coursework, K-Translation Pro-Bono, that can meet the demands of industry sectors. For the fulfillment of bilateral desires, the course was primarily built with an empirical concept of service-learning, providing the 48 participants for three years (2019 to 2021) with a multitude of translation approaches, fieldwork, and overseas commitments. To capture the results of the course effectively, questionnaires, a Likert scale, and face-to-face workshops were administered. For better alignment among academic- industry sectors, consistent further studies are necessary and college stakeholders also need to keep abreast of the social change.
