중국 언론에 비친 화성 3ㆍ1운동과 ‘제암리 학살’

국문 초록

1919년 3ㆍ1운동은 전 세계의 한민족의 독립을 선언한 역사적인 사건이었다. 뿐만 아니라 민족대표 33인, 유관순, 제암리 학살 사건 등 중요한 역사적 인물과 사건들로 한국사에서 민주공화정을 가능케 했던 운동이었다. 이러한 3ㆍ1운동 과정 그 가운데 화성지역 3ㆍ1운동에 대한 중국의 언론은 한국의 독립선언과 제국주의 일본군의 학살 현장을 보도하였다. 특히 제암리 학살사건에 대해 많은 지면을 할애하였으며, 전 세계에 이 사실을 알렸다. 중국 언론은 제국주의 일본의 학살 만행과 한민족의 저항의 실상을 알리면서 3ㆍ1운동을 통해 중국인들의 각성과 세계평화의 메시지를 전달하고자 했다.

영문 초록

The March 1 Independence Movement in 1919 was a historic event that declared the independence of the Korean people around the world. In addition, it was a movement that enabled democratic republicanism in Korean history with important historical figures and events such as 33 national representatives, Yoo Gwan-soon, and Jeam-ri. During the March 1 Independence Movement, Chinese media on the March 1 Independence Movement in Hwaseong reported on the Korean Declaration of Independence and the massacre of imperial Japanese troops. In particular, he devoted a lot of space to the Jeam-ri massacre, and made it known to the whole world. The Chinese media sought to convey the message of awakening Chinese people and world peace through the March 1st Movement, announcing the atrocities of imperial Japan s massacre and the resistance of the Korean people.
