영문 초록

This paper aims to discuss the past 13 democratization movements that happened since the Korean liberation in terms of concepts and insist that the possibility to overturn the political power, opening the opportunity to change the regime peacefully, is centered by keeping and practicing it. First, I study Daegu2ㆍ28, Daejeon3ㆍ8, Masan3ㆍ15, 4ㆍ19 revolution, Gwangju5ㆍ18, 6ㆍ10 struggle, Bu-ma struggle, Candle-revolution, 6ㆍ3movement against the Korean-Japanese talks, Movement against the 3rd-election for presidency, Movement against Yu-sin constitution. Second, the discourse of concepts is applied to Jeju 4ㆍ3 and Yosun accident, results in my opinion that the three should be named in the struggle of people. Lastly, I conclude that the democratization movement against the authoritarian governments should be defined as the exercise of the national resistance right to sustain the possibility to overturn the political power.
