영문 초록

This study examines the effects of government support policies on the success of an enterprise s innovation under the competitive environment of the market in which the entity is faced. This study fills an important gap in the literature by providing an in-depth investigation of the government support policies and their effects on innovation under competitive environment and it will contribute to effective implementation and performance of related these policies in the future. This study derived the success factors of innovation from 4000 manufacturing firms in Korea by utilizing the data from the National Statistical Office and examined the moderating roles of the competitive environment in the market between the effectiveness of the government support policy and innovation success. The analysis results of the integrative model confirmed the effect of the government support policy on innovation under the competitive markets. In addition, the positive effects of corporate characteristics such as research and development (R&D) personnel costs, firm size, collaboration status, labor productivity, and type of the firm were also confirmed as factors of success in technological innovation.
