자동화 컨테이너 터미널의 추진 전략에 관한 연구

국문 초록

우리와 경쟁하고 있는 선진항만에서는 자동화 항만을 넘어 디지털 항만, 스마트 항만을 구축하기 위한 준비를 착실히 하고 있다. 스마트 항만을 구축하기 위해 준비하고 있는 유럽의 주요 항만과는 달리 우리나라는 컨테이너 자동 하역시스템 시범사업을진행하고 있어 후발주자라고 할 수 있다. 장기적인 관점에서 보면 우리나라 상황은 나쁘지 않다. 지금부터 현재 진행하고 있는 실증사업과 디지털화와 스마트화를 잘 연계한다면 향후 더 효율적인 비즈니스 모델 개발이 가능하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자동화컨테이너 터미널 구축을 위해 요구되는 사항을 정리·분석한 후 추진 전략을 구체적으로 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 자동화 컨테이너 터미널의 추진 전략으로 모두 네 가지를 제시하였다. 첫째 경제적 타당성 확보, 둘째 사회적 수용성, 셋째 기능적 접근과 프로세스 재정립, 넷째 효율적 자동화 방법론 검토가 네 가지 전략에 해당한다. 현재 진행중인 컨테이너 자동 하역시스템 실증사업단계에서 디지털 항만을 거쳐 스마트 항만으로 매끄럽게 가기 위해 고려해야 하는 사항은 첫째 먼저 스마트 항만 구축을 위해 준비하고 있는 항만에 대한 지속적인 분석 및 모니터링이다. 둘째 자동화 항만 구축 단계에서부터 통신 매체, 에너지, 운송 방식에대한 고민과 경쟁 항만에서 어떤한 방식으로 구축하는지에 대한 분석이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Advanced ports competing with port in Korea are steadily preparing to build digital port and smart port beyond automated port. Unlike major ports in Europe that are preparing to build a smart port, Korea is a latecomer as it is conducting a pilot project of an automatic container unloading system. From a long-term perspective, the condition in Korea is not serious. More effective business models can be developed in the future, if digitization and smartization are connected with the test-bed projects currently underway from now on. In this study, we arranges and analyzes the items required for building an automated container terminal, the implementation strategy i s specifically presented. Four strategies are proposed for the automated container terminal in this study. Firstly securing economic feasibility, secondly social acceptance, thirdly functional approach and process reengineering, fourthly review of efficient automation methodology. The first factor to consider in order to smoothly go to a smart port through a digital port at the stage of the currently ongoing test-bed project of container automatic unloading system is the continuous analysis and monitoring of the port being prepared for the establishment of a smart port. Second, from the stage of building an automated port, it is necessary to think over communication media, energy, and transportation methods, and to analyze how it is built in competitive ports.
