디자인 수업에 기초한 자유학기제 진로교육 프로그램 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중학교 1학년 학생들이 자신의 진로를 탐색하며 미래를 설계할 수 있는 프로그램 개발을 위한 것으로, 디자인 수업을 기초한 자유학기제 진로교육 프로그램이 학습자의 진로개발역량에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 연구를 위하여 우리나라의 진로교육과 자유학기제 관련 문헌 및 선행연구에 대하여 살펴보고, 진로개발역량과 미술과 중심의 진로교육의 의의에 대한 이론적 고찰을 한 뒤 디자인 수업을 기초로 한 자유학기제 예술·체육 활동 프로그램을 설계하였다. ‘진로 포트폴리오 만들기〔나의 꿈을 찾고(go), 행복을 잡(job)아라!〕’수업을 경기도 G시에 소재한 J중학교 1학년 학생 66명을 대상으로 총16차시의 프로그램을 실시하였다. 본 프로그램이 학생들의 진로개발역량에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 한국직업능력개발원 (2017)에서 개발한 ‘진로개발역량 검사지’를 활용하여, 교육프로그램 실시 전과 후의 결과를 비교했을 때, 개인·사회 영역, 진로관리 영역, 학업 영역의 변화를 분석해보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 프로그램의 효과성을 T-test 검증을 분석한 결과, 자유학기제 예술·체육 프로그램에 참여한 학생들의 사전·사후 진로개발역량 전체를 비교해 보았을 때, 사전검사(M=3.79)에서 사후검사(M=4.09)로 통계학적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 디자인관련 진로교육을 위한 자유학기제 예술·체육 프로그램을 제안함으로써 학생의 진로개발역량의 변화로 수업의 유의미를 검증하였다. 연구의 디자인 수업에 기초한 진로교육 프로그램에 대한 연구가 자유학기제 진로교육이 발전하는데 발판을 마련할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of the career education program of Free Semester system based on the design class on the career development ability of the learner for the first grade students in middle school by exploring their career and designing their future. For this purpose, the study would examine preceding researches related to career education and liberal education in Korea and the significance of career education focused on arts, and then the free semester arts and physical education program based on the design classes was designed. A total of 16 the first grade junior high school students in G city, Gyeonggi-do, conducted a planned a class named career dream portfolio creation In order to investigate the effect of the program on students career development competency, the study aims to examine the change in the fields of personal·society, career management and academic by comparing the results before and after implementing education program using the career development competency test devised by Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (2017), Furthermore, in order to examine the effectiveness of the program, the results of the analysis of the comparative sample T-test have shown that there was a statistically significant difference between pre-test (M = 3.79) and post-test (M = 4.09), when comparing the whole pre- and post-career development competency of the students participating in the free semester arts and physical education. To investigate the effect of the program on students career development ability, the study utilized the career development competency test developed by Korea Vocational Training Institute (2017). The collected data were analyzed by utilizing the SPSS ver. 21.0 program. As a result of the analysis , statistically significant differences were discovered when comparing before-and-after evaluation. It is expected that the research on the career education program based on the design class of this study would be a momentous cornerstone for the development of career education of the free semester system.
