영문 초록

Kim, Si-seup is one of the most famous poets in the early Joseon Period who loved tea and spent his whole life wandering. With pent-up anger due to his suppressed ambition, he poured every effort to overcoming his confucian ideal with tea as a medium and a friend of his training while wandering the whole country. His psychological frustration against such reality was described in poetry on tea configuring Buddhist concepts and he was engaged in tea as a medium to release his internal conflicts. Tea to him was a friend to overcome reality and a companion for solitary excursion. In addition, it was a product of unreal existence and transcendental friendship through tea and Zen.
