국문 초록

본고에서는 학교 밖의 일반인들에 대한 문화예술교육으로부터 소외된 지역, 계층에게 문화예술교육을 통한 지역민의 문화예술 복지율을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 강구하고 문화예술교육을 활성화 시키는 방법을 모색하고자 했으며, 질적 연구로써 경남의 노인들에게 문화예술교육 프로그램을 문화복지 실천가적인 측면에서 문화예술교육을 실행하여 노인들의 문화예술 복지 활성화 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 했다. 본 연구는 문화소외지역의 소외계층인 노인을 교육 참여대상으로 문화예술교육 프로그램을 기획하여 실행한 연구이다. 문화예술교육 프로그램을 실행한 결과 일반인과 달리 노인들의 신체적·정서적 특성 때문에 프로그램이 수정되기도 했으며, 수업의 목표는 같을지라도 일괄적인 결과 도출이 아니라 참여자 중심의 원리, 개인차 고려의 원리, 상호작용의 원리를 고려한 결과 도출을 하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 관찰되었다. 문화예술교육 프로그램을 실행하는 과정과 결과 분석을 통한 문화예술교육의 활성화 방안을 다음과 같이 분석해 낼 수 있었다. 첫째 문화예술교육의 활성화를 위해서는 환경조성이 필수적이다. 둘째 노인의 특성에 알맞은 문화예술교육 프로그램 설계 및 프로그램의 장기적이고 지속적인 실행이 중요하다. 셋째, 문화예술교육 기관에 대해서 접근성이 용이해야 한다. 넷째, 문화예술교육 대상자 발굴 및 교육 홍보 방안을 마련해야 한다. 정부의 정책과 실천가가 협력적으로 노인에게 맞는 적합한 문화예술 복지의 정책 개발과 프로그램 개발에 힘써야 하며, 문화예술교육의 활성화를 위한 실질적 추진 전략이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This research aims to find ways to enhance local community residents’ culture and art welfare by providing culture and art education for people that were isolated from culture and art, and seek ways to vitalize culture and art education programs. For a qualitative study, culture and art education is carried out for the old people in Kyeongnam area in terms of the practice of cultural welfare. This study is a qualitative one in which culture and art education programs were planned and conducted for the educational target of the old, the neglected class in a culturally alienated region. As the result of the culture and art education, the program was modified for the physical and emotional characteristics of the aged. Even though the goal of the classes was the same, it was observed to be more desirable to make a conclusion by considering participants’ characteristics, personal differences, and interaction between them. When the process and result of the culture and art education as a qualitative study were analyzed, the ways to activate culture and art education have been deducted as follows. First, appropriate environments should be formed for it. Second, culture and art education programs fit for the features of the aged need to be developed and consistently operated for a long term. Third, the organizations of culture and art education have to be easily accessible. Fourth, the recipients of culture and art education and the methods to promote the education need to be found. The government with policies and those putting it into practice have to cooperate to develop the policies and programs of culture and art welfare appropriate for the older citizens, and substantial strategies to carry forward them for the sake of vitalized culture and art education should be planned.
