영문 초록

In order to create healthy and comfortable indoor environment, application of finishing materials which have low pollutant emission rate and control of odor which is caused from human behavior is essential. After the enforcement of the Indoor Air Quality Control in Public Use Facilities, etc. Act since 2004, the IAQ of newly-constructed apartment houses has been improved continuously. However, there is room for improvement according to maintenance before dwelling and life style of dwellers. In this study, the functional finishing material(wallpaper) was developed to adsorb and decompose the carcinogen, formaldehyde. And the deodorization system was produced to control the specific odor emitted by dwellers behavior. Through the experiment, the functional wallpaper was certified as exceeding the Healthy & Clean House Criteria. The workability of the wallpaper was confirmed with the field trial. With the examination, the prototype of deodorization system showed notable result.
