국문 초록

본 연구는 메타분석을 통해 구성주의적 접근 유아교육 프로그램의 효과를 종합적으로 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구논문은 2001년부터 2015년까지의 논문을 수집하였으며, 최종적으로 45편의 논문을 최종 분석대상으로 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 구성주의적 접근 유아교육 프로그램의 전체 효과크기는 2.04로 Cohen(1988)의 기준에 의거하면 매우 큰 효과인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 구성주의적 접근에 기초하였을 때 가장 효과크기가 큰 독립변수는 2개 이상의 교과가 결합된 통합 활동, 과학 활동, 수학활동 순으로 나타났으나 이에 반해 동작과 요리활동의 효과크기는 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 조절변인에 따른 구성주의적 접근 유아교육 프로그램의 효과크기 중, 출판변인, 출판년도 그리고 실험설계변인으로 수업형태, 주당 실험 실시 횟수, 실험처치 주수, 실험처치 횟수, 실험처치 시간에 따라 효과크기의 차이가 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study aims at examining the effects of constructive approach on the early childhood education program. For this purpose, the researcher selected 45 domestic studies on the topic published among 2001-2015 and calculated effect size by applying random effect model after performing homogeneity test. The results are as follows. First, the overall effect size of constructive approach programs were 2.04, which corresponds to U3 coefficient of 97.93%. This means the children group who completed the character education program gains more 47.93% effects than the children of control group. Second, the independent variable with the largest effect size was in the order of integrated activities which were combined with two or more subjects, and scientific activities, and mathematics activities whereas the effect sizes of movement and cooking activities were relatively low appeared. Third, the effect size of the early childhood education program was influenced by the publication variables, the year of publication, and the experiment design variable. Also, the effect size was significantly affected by the type of instruction, number of experiments per week, number of experimental treatments.
