동기절차와 결합한 질문하기 중재가 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 자발적 질문하기와 어휘습득에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 동기전략을 적용한 언어중재가 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 자발적 질문하기와 어휘 습득에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 연구 대상은 2명의 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동으로, 대상자간 중다기초선 설계를 적용하였다. 동기전략으로 아동의 선호물 및 자연적인강화물을 사용하였고 언어시범, 시간지연, 용암의 전략을 함께 중재방법으로 적용하였다. 중재는 사설 치료실에서 이루어졌고 일반화 효과의 자료는 치료실과 연구대상의 가정에서 수집되었다. 연구 결과, 동기전략을 적용한 언어 중재는 대상 아동의 자발적 질문하기습득에 효과가 있었으며 중재 상황이 아닌 다른 상황에서도 일반화되어 훈련받지 않은 부수적인 어휘 습득에도 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 제한점과 향후 연구 방향 등에 관하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of motivational strategies incorporated into language interventions on the spontaneous question-asking and the acquisition of vocabularies of children with autism spectrum disorder. Two children with autism spectrum disorder were selected in order to employ a multiple baseline design across participants. As an intervention, motivational strategies including the child s preferable items and natural reinforcers were conducted along with verbal modeling, time-delay and prompt fading procedures. The intervention sessions were conducted in the clinic and the generalization data were collected both in the clinic and in the participant s home. The results of this study were as follows; First, motivational strategies incorporated into teaching question-asking to children with autism spectrum disorder resulted in acquisition and generalization of the spontaneous question-asking without additional teaching in other settings. Second, both children in this study acquired new vocabularies collaterally through their spontaneous question-asking without intervention. The results of the study were discussed.
