영문 초록

This is a case report and review of literatures of a rare mixed odontogenic tumor, ameloblastic fibro-odontoma in the anterior area of the mandible. A 9-year-old male patient was referred to our department for the treatment of hard mass on the area of the mandible and delayed eruption of the #41 and #42 teeth. On the basis of clinical and radiographic examinations, we had an impression that the lesion was benign mixed odontogenic tumor. He was treated by surgical enucleation of the lesion, and then, the wound was closed directly for primary healing. After operation, main specimen was examined histopathologically and diagnosed as ameloblastic fibro-odontoma. The patient did well postoperatively and during the 5 month postoperative period has shown no sign of recurrence.
