영문 초록

This study reviews the British integrity system comprising serious fraud office, national accounting office, national audit office, police and public prosecution, watch dogs(ombudsman) and press committee. This study founds that the British national integrity system functioned by the balance between self-regulatory and statutory controls has largely worked well attributable to enforcement authority, either political will of the Head of the State or independency of the agency. With the findings, this study suggests that actual investigative power, institutional independence and political neutrality of the anti-corruption agency would be needed for the Korea’s integrity system.
