영문 초록

The conclusions of this study is as follows about the cause of life and symptom of aging with reference to successive oriental medical book. 1. On human's life and definition of senescence, the length of life is 100-120 years, senescence is 60 or 65years over, 80or 90years old humans is treat as a macrobian in oriental medicine, but this definition should consider special change of old age 2. The physiological and pathological special features of old age are decreased activation of balance between jang-bu(臟腑) by reason of decline of junghyul(精血) and junghyu(精虧), qihye(氣虛), sinmo(神耗) by reason of unbalance of jun-qi-sin(精氣神). 3. Symptoms of decrepitude are xeroderma, alopecia, white hair, decline of sight and audition, amnesia, insomnia, lethargy, impetuosity, dementia, delusion, tasteless, constipation, diarrhea, colic of waist and leg, impotence 4. The main factors of decrepitude are congenital deficiency and postnatal careless of excess of chiljung(七情), damnification of ukum(六淫), sexual intemperance, intemperance of food, drinking, smoking.
