영문 초록

This Study focused on the development of DRM(Digital Right Management) Technology in the mobile music provide industry. DRM has gradually been a well-understood technology in music industry. Currently technology changes very rapidly. Almost all DRM platforms have been isolated with the other company's technology, working only on one piece of equipment or on a single software platform. It is the problem of interoperability and stand- ardization. However, the existing law can not afford to deal with the emerging technology properly. To deal with this problem, the Com- petition Law should consider the market, consumers and the tech- nology. In the regulation of online music industry, the admin- istrative should consider all aspects such as interoperability, stand- ardization of DRM. There has been little attempts to create an overarching interoperable framework for DRM. The technology is almost ready to be prosper, but government regulation is not ready to deal this legal problem. This study is designed to aid copyright owners, broadcasters, technology developers, mobile MP3 Phone equipment vendors and regulators with DRM policy. To prosper these music industries, the minimum regulation is needed.
