국문 초록

본 연구는 소비자의 기부행동에 있어 기부행동과 삶의 질과의 연관성을 밝히고자 하였다. 특히 이들 간의 관계에서 과거 기부경험이 기부행동을 더 촉진시키는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 조사대상은 기부경험이 있는 소비자 168명의 일반인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 이중 부적적한 응답지 8부를 제외한 160부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 사회적 규범과 물질주의 가치관, 공동체의식은 모두 기부행동에 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기부행동이 기부만족과 삶의 질을 향상시키는 것으로 나타나 기부자의 기부행동이 봉사 및 자선, 사회 환원으로서 인식되어 기부자의 행복감 등의 삶의 질을 증진시키고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 과거 기부경험에 따라 공동체의식과 기부행동의 상호작용효과가 나타나고 있어 기부자의 과거기부경험과 높은 공동체의식집단의 기부자의 경우가 기부행동을 적극적으로 참여하고 있음을 나타냈다. 따라서 사회 전반적으로 적극적인 기부문화를 정착시키기 위해서는 기존 기부자를 대상으로 하는 지역 공동체 의식증진 프로그램 등을 운용 활용하는 전략이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the current study is to examine the relationships between consumers' donation behavior and the quality of life. In particular, the study attempted to investigate the role of past donation experience in stimulating donation behavior. Questionnaires were administered with 168 people, and a total of 160 questionnaires were used in the final analysis excluding 8 incomplete questionnaires. The findings of the study were as follows. First, social norm, materialistic values, and sense of community all significantly affected giving behavior. Second, giving behavior was found to affect donor satisfaction and to enhance the quality of life, suggesting that giving behavior is perceived as service, charity, and social return, which, in turn, promotes the donor's sense of happiness. Third, an interaction effect was found between sense of community and giving behavior based on past donation experience, indicating that donors with past donation experience and strong sense of community show active giving behavior. The findings of the study imply that in order to promote a culture of active donation across the entire society it is necessary to develop strategic programs for current donors that can heighten their sense of community.
