영문 초록

This study was carried out to investigate antioxidative effects of Rumex crispus L. (R. crispus) leaf extracts and protective effects on Human HaCaT keratinocyte. The extracts were prepared by ethanol extraction method. The antioxidant activities of extracts was used the method of DPPH radical, SOD similar activation, total polyphenolics and flavonoids content and protective effects on human HaCaT keratinocyte. The DPPH radical scavenging activity of the aerial part of R. crispus leaf extracts showed a considerable IC50 value (187.08 ㎍/㎖) consistency showed an effect dependently. The contents of total phenolics (92.3 ㎍/㎖) and flavonoids (173.1 ㎍/㎖). The SOD-like activity of showed 39.26% at 500 ㎍/㎖. In our results, treatment with R. crispus leaf extracts did not show cytotoxicity on HaCaT keratinocyte beneath the concentration of 100 ㎍/㎖. R. crispus leaf extracts showed protective effect against cell death of HaCaT cell induced by hydrogen peroxide significantly. These results suggested that R. crispus leaf extracts may have antioxidative effects on human skin and also potential as functional material and cosmetic products composites. So continuous studies for them would be desirable.
