영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to survey the recent trends in the book of Jeremiah study. So, summarizing and evaluating the historical and literary study of the book of Jeremiah over the last century is a difficult task. It cannot be doubted that the period before 1970's, Jeremiah studies are manifested by the influence of the historical critical approaches. However, since the mid-1970s, there has been a paradigm shift from the historical criticism to the text centred approaches. Recently rhetorical and linguistic analysis has been applied to the study of the prophetic books. In this respect, the author of this paper tries to present the distinctive features of the information structure and also diverse linguistic devices in the book of Jeremiah.
