고창 지석묘군 상석 채굴지의 제문제

국문 초록

고창 지석묘군의 상석 채굴지 조사는 죽림리 일대의 현 지석묘군이 위치한 성틀봉과 중봉 7~8부 능선을 중심으로 23개소가 조사되었으며, 이 지역은 지형상의 위치. 상석 재료의 확보성. 채굴시의 노동력 조건이 지석묘의 조성으로는 최적의 조건을 갖추고 있다. 지석묘 상석의 채굴과정은 암석의 절리면을 최대한 이용하였다. 상석을 채굴하기 위해서 지석묘 조영의 위치. 상석의 운반 루트, 상석의 크기가 사전에 파악되었고, 여기에 대한 채굴방법, 순서가 계획적으로 이루어졌다. 지석묘의 상석을 채굴함에 있어서 타격부위는 크게 6가지의 방법이 확인되고 있다. 이들 타격부위는 암석 현존위치의 횡위에 가해지는 것이 대부분이며, 타격 부위의 형태도 타격방법, 암석의 강도에 의해 다르게 나타나고 있다. 지석묘군에 축조되어 있는 상석의 타격방법을 관찰한 결과, 상석 채굴지에 잔존하는 타격방법의 유형과 거의 같은 형태로 나타나고 있으며, 또한 지석묘군의 상석과 상석 채굴지의 암질이 동일 계통인 것으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

Research for the study centered around Mt. Seongtle and Mt. Chung in Chungnim-li. Kochang-up and Sanggab-li. Asan-myon where the dolmens are located. fifteen spots around Mt. Seongtle and eight spots in the Mt. Chung area were examined respectively. Both Places display the best construction of the dolmens. comsidering their topographcal locations. availability of rocks and the condition of labour. As we know from the present condition of the quarries. the length of the original rock is usuallt laid from east to west. It is certain that a considerable amount of stone was spearated from the rocks at dolmen sites. Even now we can easily see the noticeable cracks on the side where the stone can be removed. In the process of other cracks were made along its width. To remove the stone. matural cracks were mostlt made on the rock. Otherwise. the least amount of labor was given by only striking artificial blows at the rock. It seems highly likely that the process ot separation. the transportation of the stone and the construction of the dolmens were practiced under precise planning. The plce of the striking blows at the rock is assured by 6ways in cracking upright stones of the stones of dolmens and the from of the striking blows at the rock is represented by the striking way and intensity of the rock in a different way. The sriking way of uprigt stones made in dolmens is the same as that in cracking upright stones. It is certain that upright stones of dolmens are the same as the ones or cracking places of upright stones.
