사회소속감이 자기효능감 및 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 - 대인관계문제의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

  본 연구는 사회소속감이 자기효능감 및 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향력을 대인관계문제를 매개변인으로 설정하여 살펴보았다. 선행 연구를 바탕으로 성별에 따라 사회소속감의 수준에 차이가 발생하지 않는다 하더라도, 사회소속감의 구성 요인과 일상생활에 미치는 영향에 있어 성차가 발생하기 때문에 남녀집단을 분리하여 분석하였다. 상관분석결과 사회소속감이 대학생활적응의 자기효능감, 주관적 안녕감과는 정적 상관관계를 가지고 있으며, 대인관계문제와는 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과, 남녀집단 모두에서 사회소속감과 자기효능감의 하위 요인인 자신감, 자아조절효능감과의 관계에서 대인관계문제의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었으나, 주관적 안녕감에서는 남녀 집단 모두 대인관계문제의 유의한 매개효과를 발견할 수 없었다. 본 연구결과는 사회소속감과 자기효능감 및 주관적 안녕감과의 관계에서 발생하는 남녀 차이를 부분적으로 설명해 주며, 특히 학교 현장에서 남녀학생의 지도 전략에 시사점을 제공한다.

영문 초록

  Social connectedness is defined as a general sense of interpersonal closeness that derives not only from close relationships(e.g., family, friends, and peers), but also from distant ones(e.g., strangers, community, and society)(Lee & Robbins, 1995; Lee et al., 2001). Previous researches have been repeatedly reported the important role of the person"s social connectedness on the person"s self-efficacy, subjective well-being, and various psychological functioning. The present study attempted to understand the effect of social connectedness on self-efficacy, subjective well-being among college students. Separate analyses between men and women were executed, as the underpinnings and innate drive for social connectedness were vary, despite of the indistinguishable level difference between men and women. The correlation analyses showed a positive relationship of social connectedness with self-efficacy, subjective sell-being, and a negative relationship with interpersonal problem. It was further to examine the direct and indirect effect of social connectedness on self-efficacy and subjective well-being via interpersonal problem. A series of hierarchical regression analyses showed the significant mediating effects of interpersonal problem on the relationship of social connectedness and self-efficacy (e.g., self-confidence and self-regulation efficacy). The limitations and suggestions for further research were noted.
