대학의 성공적인 ERP 구축을 위한 대학특성 유형분석

국문 초록

  부분별로 움직이던 행정을 효율적인 업무처리방식으로 한 번에 신속하게 처리할 수 있는 ERP는 1990년대 이후 국내 기업에 적극적으로 도입되었고, 대학에서도 혁신적인 통합정보시스템의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 성공적인 ERP 구축을 위하여 고려해야 할 대학특성이 무엇인지 밝힘으로써 각 대학특성에 따른 전략적인 ERP 도입과 ERP 구축 활성방안 마련, ERP 단일 패키지 개발 및 보급을 위한 정보를 제공하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 전국의 총 225개 대학(54.5%)이며, 12개 대학 특성 유형을 통하여 ERP 구축 유무, ERP 구축 필요성, ERP 구축 계획여부, ERP 만족도를 분류？분석하였고, ERP 구축 후 만족도에 영향을 미치는 대학특성 유형을 탐색하였다.
  연구결과는 2가지 방법으로 분석되었다. 대학의 기반환경 특성 유형을 분류？분석하기 위하여 데이터마이닝 기법 중의 하나인 의사결정나무분석을 하였고, 탐색적인 과정으로 ERP 구축 후 만족도에 영향을 미치는 대학특성 유형을 알아보기 위해 중다회귀분석을 하였다.
  연구결과는 첫째, ERP 구축에 영향을 미치는 결정적인 대학특성은 단일 ERP 패키지의 필요성 유무, 대학 규모, 정부의 패키지 사용의사 여부로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, ERP 미 구축 대학을 대상으로 의사 결정나무분석을 한 결과, ERP 구축 필요성에 영향을 미치는 결정적인 대학특성은 ERP 구축 계획 여부, 대학 규모, 대학 유형으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, ERP를 구축한 대학을 대상으로 실시한 의사결정나무분석 결과, ERP 구축 후 만족도에 영향을 미치는 대학특성은 예산유형, 초기 소요된 예산, 설립 유형, 대학 규모, 정부 패키지 사용의사 여부로 밝혀졌다. 그리고 ERP 구축 후 만족도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인은 초기 소요된 예산으로 나타났고, ERP 구축 시 초기 소요된 예산이 작으면 작을수록 ERP 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study is to provide information with regard to (i) a strategic ERP introduction, (ii) an action plan for a successful and efficient ERP system construction, and (iii) a development & distribution of the standard ERP system package by analysing the specific character types in universities.
  This study model covers 225 universities in Korea (approximately 54.5%). The university character types are classified and analyzed in light of whether or not the ERP system has been already in place, the system is necessary to construct and the construction plan is prepared. The character types are also analysed in terms of the satisfaction level of the ERP system based on the 12 characters of a university.
  Two methods are employed to obtain the study results; (i) Weka ver 3.4 (a tool for Data Mining"s Decision Tree Analysis) in order to analyse the university character types and (ii) Multiple Regression to identify specific university character types that have an impact on the satisfaction level after ERP system is in place.
  The former yield the following results. First, the critical Character types for ERP system construction are the necessity of standard ERP system package, a university scale and an intention to use the standard system. Second, the critical Character types for universities having no ERP system are the plan for ERP construction, a university scale and a university type. Third, the critical Character types affecting the satisfaction level after ERP system is constructed are the budget type, an initial budget, an establishment type, a university scale and an intention to use the standard ERP system package. Meanwhile, as a result of Multiple Regression, it is revealed that the key factor having influence on the satisfaction level subsequent to ERP system construction is the budget spent at initial stage. Moreover, the satisfaction level is analysed as being negatively correlated to the initial budget spent.
