영문 초록

  There have been lots of interesting scholarly papers related to dramas and films including animations. However, they are mainly concerned about philosophical, psychological and ideological issues. Unlike pervious papers, we discuss the identities of America exhibited in some Disney animations providing various linguistic evidence. Through this paper, we claim that Disney animations mentioned here appear to show that America, as a super power in the world, tries to avoid the fact that England is the cultural root of present day America, on the basis of linguistic facts captured in some Disney animations. The linguistic evidence referring to language games, various linguistic phenomena and symbolism exhibited in Disney animations point to the fact that our claim is tenable.
