국문 초록

본 논문은 원삼국시대 영남지역에서 출토된 한경(漢鏡)이라는 물건과 이를 소비한 주체의 성격을 규명하는데 목표를 둔다. 한경에 대한 연구는 한⋅중⋅일 각지에서 다종다양하게 진행되었으며, 지역에 따라 주목한 측면이 상이하다. 이중 한국에서는 출토 경의 형식에 따른 시간성을 기반으로 편년을 구축하거나, 주변지역과의 교류를 살펴보는 분야가 주요하게 연구되었다. 다만 기존의 연구는 한경을 중원⋅군현산 물품 중 일부로서 파악하여, 개별 유물이 지닌 특성 과 가치에 집중하지 못한 측면이 존재한다. 또한 한경에 대해 생산⋅공급지의 관점에서 접근하여 수요지의 관점이 온전히 반영되었다고 보기 어렵다. 이상의 문제점을 통해 본고에서는 기존 선행연구에서 주목한 한경의 형태적 특성과 부장 양상 을 보완하고, 대외교역품의 일환으로서 거울에 주목하였다. 접근 방법으로는 먼저 한경의 크기를 분석하여 일정한 조합을 도출하였으며, 부장 양상과의 검토에서 연관성을 파악하였다. 다음으로 대외교역품과 크기-부장 양상 간 분석 결과를 살펴보고, 유형을 설정하였다. 마지막으로 유형에 기반하여 한경의 성격을 재지민의 거울 인식 과정에 기반하여 규명하였다. 한경은 CE로 이행될수록 일정한 크기 조합이 유행하며, 부장 위치에서도 머리와 상체가 선호되는 경향을 확인할 수 있었다. 동경은 크기에 관계없이 주로 두부 혹은 이에 가까운 상체에 집중되며, 복수부장된 사례에서는 예외 없이 두부-상체로 구분된다. 특히 대형경은 상체, 중⋅소형경 은 두부와 상체 모두 확인되는 모습이다. 이같이 관내 피장자의 신체 인근에 부장되는 양상은 거울이 망자 개인에게 귀속된 물건이었음을 드러낸다고 할 수 있다. 그에 따라 거울과 함께 공반된 중원⋅군현산 대외교역품을 살펴볼 때, 물건의 종류와 수량이 많을수록 거울 또한 크기가 커지거나 복수 부장되는 양상이 도출되었다. 즉 거울의 부장 형태는 종류와 수량에 따라 당시 대외교역을 주관한 피장자의 사회적 위치와도 직결됨이 추론 가능하다. 이에 앞선 분석들을 기반으로, 거울 소비자의 인식형성 및 변화에 대해 한경과 대외교역품과의 관계 및 당대 사회양상과 연결하여 해석하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to identify the characteristics of the object called Hankyung(漢鏡) excavated in the Yeongnam region during the Proto Three Kingdoms period and the subject who consumed it. Research on Hankyung has been conducted in various ways in Korea, China, and Japan, and the aspects of attention are different depending on the region. Among them, in Korea, the main research was on establishing a chronological year based on the temporal characteristics according to the form of the excavated Hankyung or examining exchanges with the surrounding region. However, existing research has identified Hankyung as a part of the Han(漢) dynasty products, and has not been able to focus on the characteristics and values of individual artifacts. In addition, it is difficult to approach Hankyung from the perspective of production and supply sites, and it is difficult to say that the perspective of the demand site is fully reflected. Through the above problems, this paper supplemented the morphological characteristics and burial pattern of Hankyung, which were noted in previous studies, and approached the mirror as part of foreign trade goods. First, a certain combination was derived by analyzing the size of Hankyung, and the relationship could be identified in the review with the burial pattern. Next, the results of the analysis between foreign trade goods and mirror size-burial pattern aspects were examined, and the types were set. Finally, based on the type, the character of Hankyung was identified based on a local resident of mirror recognition process. In Hankyung, the more it transitions to CE, the constant popular a certain size combination is, and it was confirmed that the head and upper body are preferred even in the burial position. As such, it can be said that the aspect of being buried near the body of the subject in the tombs that the mirror was an object belonging to the individual of the deceased. Considering the above results, Hankyung interpreted the meaning of regional distribution by period based on discoveried mirror shape and the excavated location of each tomb construction order, and approached the recognition of the user through relations with foreign trade goods.
