국문 초록

본 연구는 한국 65세 이상 고령층을 대상으로 심근경색증 조기 증상에 대한 인지 수준을 파악하고, 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2024년 지역사회 건강 조사의 원시자료를 활용한 이차자료 분석연구를 수행하였으며, 심근경색증 조기 증상 관련 문항에 응답한 77,117명의 자료를 분석에 포함하였다. 분석은 복합표본 설계를 반영한 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 수행되었다. 그 결과, 연령, 성별, 거주 성인수, 교육 수준, 거주지역 유형(동·읍면), 주관적 건강 수준, 평생 음주 경험, 체중조절 경험, 고혈압 진단 여부, 심폐소생술 교육 경험이 심근경색증 조기 증상인지에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 거주지역 특성과 건강 관련 행태가 고령층의 심근경색증 조기 증상인지 수준에 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다. 따라서 고령층의 건강 역량과 실천 능력을 향상시키기 위해 지역사회 특성을 고려한 통합적이고 맞춤형 건강교육 및 응급질환 인식 프로그램의 개발과 보급이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify the level of awareness of early symptoms of myocardial infarction among elderly individuals aged 65 and older, and to analyze the factors influencing this awareness. To achieve this, a secondary data analysis was conducted using the 2024 Community Health Survey, including responses from 77,117 individuals who answered questions related to early symptoms of myocardial infarction. The analysis revealed that age, gender, number of adults in the household, education level, residential area type (urban/rural), subjective health status, lifetime alcohol use, weight control experience, hypertension diagnosis, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training experience had a significant impact on symptom awareness. The findings indicate that residential area characteristics and health-related behaviors are associated with early symptom recognition in the elderly, highlighting the need for integrated and customized health education and emergency disease recognition programs to enhance health capacity and practical skills in older adults.
