국문 초록

본 연구는 영유아교사의 소명의식이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향에서 교사리더십의 매개효과를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 K도 소재 어린이집 교사 200명을 편의표집하여 소명의식, 교사효능감, 교사리더십에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 연구자료는 SPSS와 Process Macro(Model 4)를 활용하여 정규성 검증, Pearson 상관분석, 부트스트랩핑(5,000회) 기반 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 영유아교사의 소명의식, 교사효능감, 교사리더십 간에는 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 소명의식은 교사리더십에 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 교사리더십은 교사효능감에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 나아가 소명의식과 교사효능감 간의 관계는 교사리더십에 의해 완전매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 영유아교사의 교사효능감 향상을 위해서 소명의식뿐 아니라 교사리더십 함양이 중요함을 시사한다. 따라서 교사효능감 향상을 위해 소명의식과 함께 교사리더십 역량을 강화하는 연수와 제도적 지원이 필요함을 보여준다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediating effect of teacher leadership on the relationship between early childhood teachers’ sense of calling and teacher efficacy. A total of 200 early childhood teachers working in childcare centers in K Province were conveniently sampled, and a survey was conducted to measure their sense of calling, teacher efficacy, and teacher leadership. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS and PROCESS Macro (Model 4) through normality tests, Pearson correlation analysis, and bootstrapping (5,000 samples) for mediation analysis. The results showed, first, that there were significant positive correlations among teachers’ sense of calling, teacher efficacy, and teacher leadership. Second, the sense of calling had a significant effect on teacher leadership, and teacher leadership had a significant effect on teacher efficacy. In addition, the direct effect of the sense of calling on teacher efficacy was not significant when teacher leadership was included, indicating a full mediating effect of teacher leadership. These findings highlight that, in order to enhance teacher efficacy in early childhood education, it is important to cultivate not only a sense of calling but also teacher leadership. Therefore, strengthening teacher leadership competencies through training and institutional support, alongside fostering a sense of calling, is essential for improving teacher efficacy.
