느린 학습자의 경험에 근거한 지원 요구 및 방향고찰: 질적메타분석

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 국내외 느린 학습자를 대상으로 한 질적연구를 통하여 느린 학습자의 경험에 근거한 지원요구및방안에대해탐색하고자하였다. 연구방법: 국내외 9편의 질적연구를선정하여 주제분석법과 귀납적 범주화를 활용한 질적메타분석을 실시, 네 가지 중심테마 및 중심테마별 하위 내용을 도출 정리하였다. 연구결과: 느린 학습자는 학습 및 인지 영역뿐만 아니라, 지적장애와는 다른 독특한 정서·사회적 어려움을 경험하고 있으며, 심리상담과 중재 프로그램은 긍정적 효과를 보이나, 상담 시간 부족, 전문인력 부족, 가족·학교 협력 미흡 등의 한계가확인되었다. 또한 정책 및 제도와 현장 실행 간 괴리, 법적 근거 미비, 서비스 편차, 인력 및 예산 부족도 문제로 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 느린 학습자 지원을 위해 체계적인 법적근거 확립, 다학제 협력 강화, 맞춤형 프로그램 및 디지털 도구활용, 실무자 역량 강화, 가족·지역사회 연계, 장기적 사례관리 체계 구축의 필요성 등에 대해 제언하며, 지속 가능한 지원체계마련의 방향성에 대해제안하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study employed a qualitative meta-analysis approach to explore the experiences of slow learners, aiming to investigate their experiences and identify their needs and possible directions to support. Method: A qualitative meta-analysis was conducted using nine qualitative studies. The analysis utilized thematic analysis and inductive categorization methods to extract and organize four central themes and their corresponding sub-themes. Results: Slow learners were found to experience unique emotional and social challenges distinct from those of students with intellectual disabilities, in addition to difficulties in learning and cognition. While counseling and intervention programs showed positive effects, limitations such as insufficient counseling time, lack of professional personnel, and inadequate cooperation between families and schools were identified. Conclusion: The present study recommends the establishment of legal foundations, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing practitioner competencies, fostering family and community connections, and building a long-term case management system to support slow learners.
