This study sheds light on the impact of multiple aspects of Iʿrāb in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, based on the author’s practical experience in teaching Arabic to Korean students. The research employed personal interviews with Korean instructors and students specializing in Arabic, alongside an applied training exercise designed to assess the awareness of advanced Korean-speaking learners regarding this grammatical phenomenon. The study begins by defining this phenomenon from a linguistic and grammatical perspective, illustrated with examples from the Qur’an and daily Arabic. Interviews showed that most instructors avoid teaching this concept at the undergraduate level to prevent confusion, though some students sought it to better grasp Arabic’s syntactic flexibility. Training revealed mixed success in identifying inflection markers with multiple interpretations. The study recommends gradually integrating the topic into advanced curricula with targeted activities to strengthen learners’ interpretive skills.
