The main purpose of this paper is to suggest an approach to integrated language and culture education in accordance with the 2022 revised English curriculum. An analysis of the 2022 revised English curriculum was conducted, focusing on its content framework of language and context. In concert with this, the current middle school English textbook was examined to compare how the concepts of language and context are represented under both the 2015 and 2022 revised English curricula. Through this comparative analysis, the structural differences in how each curriculum organizes language and context were identifed. Based on this data, the content framework of the 2022 revised English curriculum was reorganized to reflect cultural patterns. The reorganized content framework was then reviewed by ten in-service English teachers and found to be valid. Learning materials that were developed from the reorganized framework were applied to fifteen middle school students enrolled in a school English club to check the field applicability. Through the application several things were noticed. First, students’ intercultural sensitivity improved in the post-test they were given, compared to the pre-test. Second, in post-activity student response forms, students showed the highest level of engagement in cultural relevance, indicating that they developed the ability to integrate language and culture. These results suggest that students’ intercultural communicative competence was enhanced, confirming the field applicability of the developed content framework.
