국문 초록
Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the process of novice infant teachers collaborating with the researcher to implement and improve the play-centered childcare curriculum. Methods: A qualitative action research approach was employed, with data collected through classroom observations, novice teachers’ reflective journals, and collaborative discussions with the researcher. The cyclical process involved recognizing challenges, applying improvement strategies, and reflecting on outcomes to enhance curriculum implementation. Results: Through this cyclical process, the novice teachers were able to improve the implementation of the playcentered childcare curriculum by supporting infant-led play, based on their understanding of infants and reflective thinking. Conclusions: This study demonstrates how novice teachers can address challenges in implementing the play-centered childcare curriculum through collaborative action research. It enhances understanding of the educational support needed for their growth into professional educators and offers specific, applicable improvement strategies and examples for infant classrooms. Additionally, it suggests that collaborative action research is an effective method for teacher education.
